Home matches this season were played at Crabble Meadow.
(1) Dover played twice on Boxing Day, in the morning, and then
in the afternoon.
(2) Dover protested that Hall
had played for Chatham in the Kent Senior Cup the previous season, and was
therefore ineligible. Chatham claimed that his
name had been mistakenly put on the team sheet,
and Miller, his double, had actually played. The K.C.F.A. believed this!
(3)
Newman and Morris together charged their 'keeper into the goal with the ball
for the first goal.
(4)
Gate receipts from this match were donated to the Sandgate disaster fund.
